I bought this game because I was looking for an RPG for the Xbox 360. The game isn't a true RPG, more of a hack and slash with a few RPG elements in it, but overall is a pleasent play. It has a fairly good story line, and the use of real Viking Gods is quite an interesting twist. The game doesn't have much content, if you are looking for a 70 hour RPG then it certainly isn't the game for you, but it had a satisfying 18 hours for me, when I'd got all the achievements, which are pretty straightforward but keep you entertained. The graphics of the game aren't anything special or amazing, but they create lands that you can quite comfortably make your way around without thinking you've been sent in a time machine back to the 90's. Overall, Viking:Battle for Asgard, is just a fairly good game that can be used to pass time. It's good but not fantastic, and worth the money if you are stuck for something to play. It would also be fantastic for achievement boosting as 1000 points is very easily achieved.Read full review
